Signed and dated 1457; it was commissioned by Giacomo d'Andreuccio, a silk merchant, and comes from the chapel of the Monselvoli Villa, belonging to the petrucci family zho gave it to the Grand Duke of Tuscany in 1798. The Grand Duke donated it to the Uffizi.
